Rez Sisters

My girlfriend had tickets to see the Rez Sister. I was excited to see it, because of all that I had heard about it. I was expecting somewhat of a comedy. Boy was I shock. I felt like crying throughout the play. The whole play represented the despair of the first nation people living on a reserve. I was not entertained. The acting was superb and the props and scenery were fabulous, yet because of the serious content I did not enjoy myself. Maybe someone else saw it differently.

Oh, thats too bad Bev. I too wanted to see it but I was unable. I have not heard anything else. I have been to other plays (comedy) and they were awesome. Oh, ask Sherry about the one we went to (it should have been rated R).

Hey Bev, thanks for your honesty in sharing your opinion about the Rez Sisters play. I also heard that it was supposed to be a comedy and am glad to know that it in fact addresses serious issues. I think I would still like to see the play because I heard about the great acting and now I will know a little more about what to expect and won't be caught off guard.

Wow, while I'm not surprised to hear that there was some serious content, I didn't expect to hear that it was so intense. I was under the impression that it was supposed to be hilarious. You've peaked my curiousity. Sounds similar to movies like Hotel Rwanda... great acting and serious issues that are important to hear about but incredibly depressing at the same time.
